About So Cal Design STudio

Born and raised in sunny So Cal, I recently returned to my hometown of Carlsbad with my husband and our two small kids after spending the past twenty years in Los Angeles. 

I founded So Cal Design Studio to focus on my passion of residential design and I am just as happy helping a client update a single powder bathroom as I am consulting on a whole house remodel. In addition to designing, I am also a realtor and I absolutely adore the process of finding the perfect fixer upper for reimagining (to learn more about my real estate services, visit www.ashleymrealestate.com).  Prior to entering the fields of interior design and real estate, I worked as an executive at a hospitality company where I was heavily involved in the design and construction of several restaurant spaces and oversaw the interior decoration of several private residences.
